Refunds and Returns Policy

This Refunds and Returns Policy explains the terms for refunds, cancellations, and changes related to our services, which include hotel room reservations, banquet hall and conference room bookings, and restaurant services.

1. General Refund and Cancellation Terms

  • Refunds and cancellations are allowed in accordance with the terms below for specific services, including hotel rooms, banquet hall, conference room, and restaurant reservations.
  • Hotel Anantha reserves the right to update this policy as needed. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.

2. Hotel Room Reservations

2.1 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Free Cancellation: Reservations canceled at least 48 hours before check-in will be eligible for a full refund, minus any processing fees if applicable.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to one night’s stay.
  • No-Show Policy: If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, a “No-Show” fee equal to one night’s stay may be charged.

2.2 Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds for canceled hotel room reservations will be processed within 7-10 business days from the cancellation date. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

3. Banquet Hall and Conference Room Bookings

3.1 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Early Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 14 days before the booking date will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Late Cancellations: For cancellations made within 14 days but more than 48 hours before the event, a 50% refund will be issued.
  • Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking date are non-refundable due to preparation and staffing costs.

3.2 Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds for banquet hall or conference room cancellations will be processed within 10-14 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.

3.3 Date Changes

  • Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 14 days before the original booking date. A rescheduling fee may apply.

4. Restaurant Reservations

4.1 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Same-Day Cancellations: Restaurant reservations can be canceled without a fee up to 4 hours before the scheduled reservation time.
  • No-Show Policy: For no-shows or cancellations within 4 hours of the reservation, a fee may apply, particularly for larger parties or special event reservations.

4.2 Refunds for Prepaid Restaurant Services

  • For prepaid restaurant services (e.g., special event dinners), cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

5. How to Initiate a Return or Refund

To request a cancellation or refund:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at bookings@ananthahotels.com with your booking reference number, name, and the reason for cancellation.
  2. Provide Documentation: Attach any relevant documents or receipts to your email to help us process your request efficiently.
  3. Receive Confirmation: Our customer support team will review your request and send a confirmation email within 24-48 hours with the next steps.

6. Additional Fees and Costs

  • Processing Fees: Any processing fees incurred due to payment providers or banks may be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Rescheduling Fees: Changes to the booking dates for banquet hall or conference room reservations may incur a rescheduling fee based on availability and timing.
  • Damage Fees: For any damage caused during the stay or event, Hotel Anantha reserves the right to charge a damage fee as part of the booking agreement.

7. Refund Processing Times

Refunds will be processed within the timeframes listed for each specific service (e.g., 7-10 business days for hotel rooms and restaurant services). Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
